Here is rough edit I made from one of the performances. The whole routine will not appear in the finished piece, but it gave me a good idea of which bits of footage I want to use. Also, I haven't yet put the sequence through Colour, as you can see, the red lighting used at the venue caused me some issues with the camera levels & w/b.

Russian News Report!

Filming at LBF was fantastic. I finally got the backstage footage I've been wanting from the outset of this project! Have just captured it all to the comp.(Full report on the LBF trip to come later)

On another note though... through an acquaintance I made at The Eccentrics Club meeting (on my last trip to London to interview Equador) I have come across this Russian news report from the same evening (there was another camera crew present, and now I know who they were). If you watch closely, Equador makes an appearance towards the end... I was set up right next to this camera guy shooting the same thing.

Why did no one show me this before?

I <3 multiclip editing! Something I learned in one of my one-to-one sessions at the Apple store, is how best to edit something shot from multiple cameras! And I wish I'd learned this long ago as it has made my life so much easier and is saving me immense amounts of time.
